2025 Potential League Changes

BIGGEST CHANGE (from 2024): We are switching from Yahoo to Sleeper moving forward to manage our League

Proposed League Scoring Changes (2025):

• Penalty for leaving an IR/OUT player in your starting lineup back to back weeks

Increase entry fee from $75 to $100

Playoff lower bracket type (currently we do Consolation Bracket):

• Toilet Bowl: The lower bracket teams play to avoid battling for last place.  The LOSING team from each ground gets "flushed" to the next round

  • Switching to "Toilet Bowl" could generate a new annual "Toilet Bowl" award, or could go by another name

• Consolation Bracket: The lower bracket teams play to see who is the best of the worst.  The winning team from each round advances to the next round in the bracket.

Proposed League Scoring Changes (2024):

• ADD: Kickers → Missed PAT is -1 point (currently 0 points)

• ADD: Team Defense → Forced fumble is 1 point (currently 0 points)

• ADD: Team Defense → Bonus points based on Total Yardage Allowed (currently 0 bonus)

  • Less than 100: 3 point bonus

  • 100 - 199: 2 point bonus

  • 200 - 299: 1 point bonus

• INCREASE: IDP → Sack to 4 points (currently 2 points)

  • Purpose: Balance points amongst IDPs who get more sacks & less tackles
